I am undecided about whether to make friends with you or kill you

14 ukes? :coma: And you have a Timple as well, you're only the 2nd person I've met who knows what it is

Yeah, but my timple isn't strung right now. I couldn't quite work out how to tune it - either A, D, F#, B, E or E, A, D, F#, B?

I've got a reel of 80lb fishing line, which makes very good uke string, so I might string it later.

I've made millions (not quote) of musical bows - just like a hunting bow but smaller and with, like, a 2lb draw weight.

I live in a mansion; I'm an heiress. I live in a 52 room palace on Park Lane. So, I have a lt of room to dedicate to becoming grade 8 in all my instruments =)
Yes, I am grade 8 on the Cow bells :wink:

Yeah, but my timple isn't strung right now. I couldn't quite work out how to tune it - either A, D, F#, B, E or E, A, D, F#, B?

I've got a reel of 80lb fishing line, which makes very good uke string, so I might string it later.

I've made millions (not quote) of musical bows - just like a hunting bow but smaller and with, like, a 2lb draw weight.

Ukebert: There is a page about all my ukes at: http://monkey-hole.co.uk/ukulele/ukuleles.html.

Nice

I'm using ADF#BE, and it works very nicely, although chords in the flat keys are a bit of a bother. Generally, because I'm lazy, I tune it down a bit for them, to GDF#BF or similar.

I'm thinking of somehow acquiring one of those cheap 6 string uke-lookalikes and tuning it EADF#BE, but haven't got round to it yet. Mine are as follows:

Ozark- Cheap, but an OK sound, Soprano
RISA Uke-Solid Soprano, lovely travel and practice electric
RISA Uke-Electric Tenor, a real electric uke, lovely sound, but I don't use it that often
Timple, soprano, really bright tone, fairly load and great for folk sessions
Banjo, unnamed, not that great really :p:

I also have a rather nice Grey and Sons (I think) Banjolin, which I haven't got round to playing with yet.
