Gcse grading system

Hi! I just wanted to know what grade is considered a grade B because I need grade B for something but I don't know if it is grade 5 or grade 6. Can someone please explain the grading system as I don't get what it means by for example 4+ or 4- like what grade would that be then? Because grade 4 is ok bit then what is grade 4+ or 4-???

A B is a grade 6. Things like 4+ and 4- are only considered a 'thing' within individual schools, they aren't actual grades that you will get from the exam board. Some schools use 4+/4- if you are close to the lower/upper grade boundary, but outside the school it will mean nothing and the grade will simply be a 4.
