Starting college next month and I’m planning on doing a levels in chemistry biology maths and I’m wondering if after I finish them would it be worth to do an apprenticeship. Would me doing a levels prior allow me to go into a more advanced apprenticeship than if just went into one after GCSEs? Also, Im quite interested in optometry so if I did go down this route would I be able to become an optician via an apprenticeship? Would I still be able to go down all career routes without uni?

to become a GOC registered optometrist you need to study an optometry degree at university and then complete a pre registration training scheme which takes about 1-2 years AFTER your degree. There is no apprenticeship.
