It depends on the university you want to switch to accepting the foundation year as suitable for entry. There’s no guarantees that they will. It’s important that you don’t start a degree with foundation year if you wouldn’t be happy finishing that degree.

SFE also consider a swap of university like this as using up your gift year of funding. So if you do swap university then you need to be sure that you won’t need to repeat or restart again.
