Yeah well atleast that is what our school said!

Okay, yeah I've just looked through this booklet we got and it does actually say that's the case.

Reply 3

I would think so yes

Reply 4

To be on the safe side, I would.

It won't take long to do the letter of permission, and it's much better then having a problematic results day.

No, mine didn't. My mum walked in picked them up of the table walked out and rang me.

My school asked for one yes, but it seems to depend on the school...

Reply 8

yeh at my school we need to have a letter.
we can't hear them read over the phone either unless parents write them a letter.

Reply 9

i'd hate for my parents to get my results :P
i have to look at them first before anyone

Reply 10

we needed a letter, as your results need to be singed for usually

so my mum picked up my results in year 10 for me, i was around in year 11 for my results which was good, wouldnt have liked my mum to get them first

I think your daughter needs to give the permission, not you.

Probably - make sure the person has ID. We wouldn't give the envelope to anyone we didn't recognise. Maybe ask for envelope to be sealed?

Righto, it would be another parent in the same year as mine so I'm sure they will know her but I will take your advice and do all of the above. Many thanks
