Bar Job Interview Attire (Male)

Looking for advice - I'm tempted to go with skinny jeans, smart shirt & doc martens, purely because I feel so much more comfortable and confident in that, but my head says it's a bad idea?

Anyone able to confirm or deny? It's at Leeds uni union, if that makes any difference.

For any job interview, no matter what it's for, I would always go for smart. You're a guy, so go for smart trousers, and a smart shirt. Maybe a blazer if it's a bit chilly. Tie would be extra-smart and up to you if you want to go that far, but just the smart shirt and trousers would do. Black or brown smart shoes as well. I would never attend any interview wearing jeans.
