I’m nervous as **** too, I know I didn’t do well in the intray exercise, I think I only replied about 3 emails out of the multitudes. Lol who else chose Glasgow or Edinburgh?

And according to the civil service result uploading guide stuff.. lol rejection and on hold/reserve emails are sent out first.. job offer mails are sent manually as they have to draw up a contract or sth.. so no response is probably potential favourable response..xD

I'm not sure what others were told, but my interview was the end of July and I was told we SHOULD hear back first or second week of August, but not to be surprised it it was much later than that.

Hi, I was told the first week of August too. I had my interview on the 20/07. Tbh, I thought it was a bit of an optimistic date, given they have to review all of the exercises tht were given to candidates. I thought it was rather strange that we were invited to roleplays before they had even marked the in tray exercise but hey ho. I enjoyed the way the assessed candidates compared to rehearsed comps.

How did you guys find the process? I agree with above the intray exercise was impossible to complete in the time they have given us, it look some about 10 mins to figure out what I am actually supposed to be doing 😂

I was also told beginning of August and my assessment date was on the 21 July

I had real ssues with the functionality of the etray exercise and I didn't complete it either

I applied on internal trawl for existing civil servants and have been informed today that I have been reserved listed. Have others got their results either internally or externally? Anyone with actual job offers?? Bit frustrated with reserve list and trying to work out what to make of it!

I'm external. I've been refreshing my email every 30 minutes for the last two weeks and I haven't heard anything, beginning to think it's not good though :frown:

The reserve list is pretty good though, well done making reserve. I've heard that quite a few people tend to be offered positions within a few months 🤞🤞

Thanks, guess I'll have to see. My assessment day was at the end of June so had been waiting a while for the result. Reserve list kind of prolongs the agony!! Good luck to you, hope the wait isn't too much longer for the external candidates.

Ikr, it was absolutely mental, Had to read some documents first then go back to the instructions like damn!! Then tryna figure out how much power I have to make decisions about stuff I know nothing about. Lol
had my interview on the 7th of July, was supposed to hear back week commencing 8th of August
oh and the role play? Man that was tough, the guy almost drove me nuts.. lol

When you say you were informed, was it an email or you were just told by like a colleague since you are already a civil servant. And I did hear somewhere that they tend to roll out all the emails at once. Could be different for internal applications maybe.

By email. They tend to release the results for everyone at the same time for each job advert. The external and internal trawls weren't the same adverts but it's likely to work in exactly the same way for both. Anyone else on the internal heard back?
