This following year, I will be doing a foundation year but I don’t want to stay in that university for four years so I would like to know is it possible to transfer universities? Also, what universities in the uk are willing to accept a foundation year? I know that question doesn’t make any sense because my head hurts at the moment.... I am going to study criminology with foundation year (I want to study law though...) so... anyone has any ideas?

Think it makes more sense to study/ resit A levels or Access course. Transfers are tricky and can have limited options.

Don’t start a degree that you wouldn’t be happy completing. Transfers are not simple - particularly for foundation years (and particularly if you’re taking a foundation year in a different subject to the one you want to study for your degree).

You would be much better served by resitting your A levels or considering a different route to a degree entirely

The information you've received on this thread is brilliant - these are two people with a lot of experience.

I would really encourage you to resit your A-levels and reapply for Law. It's very uncertain/ unlikely a university will accept you as a transfer with a foundation.
