I am a first year student at Strathclyde. Although I have lived abroad for the past 8 years I return to Scotland every year. MY father is on a temporary contract and I am a UK national with a national insurance number and I have family in Scotland and UK. I have been awarded domestic home status from Strathclyde however I have been told I am not eligible for a loan. Does anyone have any advice as I have home status for the university but not for the loan which I will be paying back! Any advice welcome.

Hi,

You would need to check your eligibility for funding with the Scottish Awards Agency for Scotland or SAAS. You can find their Facebook where they respond to messages here.

Thanks, Tégan
