Hi there. I’m going to be taking A-Levels with the hope of going on to study psychology at university. At the moment I’m planning on taking Psychology, Law and English Lit at A Level. However I am aware that universities prefer 2 or more science or maths A-Levels. I’m not particularly good at maths but I am interested in it and science. I’m naturally better at a subject like English lit but would I be better off getting a science like Biology or Chemistry under my belt. How hard would that be for someone who’s not a natural mathematician/scientist? Any help would be very much appreciated, thank you

Maths or sciency subjects r good but uni aren’t particularly interested in that
What ur saying and talking about are facilitating subjects which uni (top ones) really look out for
English Lit is one of them, doesn’t have to be mathsy or sciency
And if ur not good at them then don’t pick it

Wait do u want to pick the sciences? Or no....
If not I say go with ur original choice

Thanks for the advice. I’m not sure exactly, I think I’m in limbo. I feel picking Biology or Chemistry would help me to study psychology at university level but it would be harder for me to get a good grade in these subjects. Whereas English lit wouldn’t apply to psychology but I could get a better grade in it
