First year university

I really had my heart set on University of Birmingham however I fell a grade short attaining BBD in my A-levels. I’m now attending Aston university, if I were to attain a first in my first year is there a possibility of me transferring? Resisting the A-level I failed (Spanish) is not an option

You first of all have to ask Birmingham if they even accept 2nd year transfer, then you have to check the modules.

You can only transfer if the modules you are doing in 1st year are exactly the same as the ones Birmingham is doing in 1st year if not you would not have the necessary skills to go to 2nd year.

You could also do a foundation year at Birmingham and then continue
