I don't think I got into sixth form even though I got an acceptance letter
In my results, I got a letter saying that I got into the sixth form. But here's the thing, I needed a 6:7 in science, and a 6 in maths yet I got a 6:6 in science and a 4 in maths. I even got the letters about the parents' assembly and the trips we're taking to universities. It says in my letter "Having received your examination results you will know if you have achieved the entry requirements for your chosen course" but it doesn't say anything about me not getting into the subjects that I wanted to do.
The best idea would be to contact your sixth form and clarify this with them. We can't really help you here with your problem because it might be your sixth form gave you the course you chose despite your results not meeting the level they needed.
