would I be able to do A level Maths? I don't know how but the exam month I just froze and didn't perform anywhere near as good as I could. My school require at least a 6 but would I be able to convince them I will work hard enough to do well and get accepted in the course.

In my mocks I got a 5 as I was unprepared as it was a whole 6 months earlier and since that day I worked really hard

A Level maths is no easy ride. It is hell. I personally would not be looking at it with anything below a 7. I have friends who got 8s and were crying over the ridiculous papers (I finished my A Levels this year).
