Certificate in higher education

Hello

I have applied to my uni for a BSc degree but as I didn’t meet the entry requirements they changed my offer into an introduction year which is a certificate of higher education degree which is another route leads me to the BSc degree.

If I study this course and get the certificate, would I be eligible to get tuition fee and maintenance loan for BSc?

Thank you.

Hi there,

Yes you would be able to complete the Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE) and then go on to receive funding for a Bachelors degrees with honours (BA/BSc Hons) as this is a higher level qualification. Therefore you would receive full funding.

Thanks, Amy
