A-level Economics help

I am going into year 13, and I find a level econ really hard, it took me long to learn the basics at the start of the course as I never did the gcse, but I’m still finding it hard to pass, and understand it as a whole. Are there any tips on how I can pass, I’m aiming for a B :frown:

I understand the facts and points but when it comes to exams, writing essays and being timed is a big issue
