Shared kitchen and bathroom does seem pretty disgusting and a huge turn off . I did a year at de mont fort and I stayed at code , it's probably a bit further away from the Leicester uni campus but all the rooms are studio and it was great I loved it . Very comfortable and homely feel. I would 100% recommend you stay there but it's probably all booked by now

Lol let's not be dramatic about it. It's only sharing a bathroom for a year and will save you loads of money. Plus at least the uni will clean it for you. If you have to have an ensuite you clean it yourself.

I mean i realise you might have some personal reasons for not wanting to share a bathroom but if not i honestly don't think it's that bad.

Most people I know had shared bathroom at uni for their first year, sounds like you get used to it pretty quick (although depends how many you have to share with?) I wouldn’t completely rule out student halls over that as there are so many benefits ie easier to socialise with undergrads

My friend just had same issue as you at Leicester and she ended up going private and sharing a house (bit of a hassle finding people though) good luck x

Hey, I am looking for someone to take over my tenancy. It starts on 10th September 2019 and ends on 10th September 2020.

It is a very spacious one-bedroom apartment.
- Large double bedroom.
- Large ensuite bathroom.
- Extremely spacious kitchen and living area.
- Private garden.
- Off-road parking/bike storage.
- Peaceful, leafy residential location.
- 10 minutes walk to University of Leicester.
- 5 minutes walk to London Road and Victoria Park.
- 2 minutes walk to a bus stop (ideal if you have placements).
- Friendly, responsive private landlord with own site manager for the building.
- Council tax included, but bills not included.

The apartment is really lovely and feels very much like a home, much more so than living in halls. Its quiet location makes it an ideal retreat for any student, especially postgraduates, with plenty of living space - and still a short walking distance to all amenities! I have pictures and videos if you would like to see more.

The apartment is available for £595 per month.

Please private message me for further details.
