So I am applying to dentistry in 2 years time but I am taking biology and chemistry A-level externally there’s 2 different options I can take, one of them being with the practical includes (£850 each ) or the one without the practical (£300 each ). The money is not a concern but do I have to take the practical one to study dentistry? Can someone who is studying dentistry give me advice? I’m an adult now and can’t seem to find a college near me to study these subjects and to self study these may be an issue? Will it? I’m more than capable to study hard. Is there some advice someone can give me please

What do you mean with the practical or without? do you mean the practical endorsements? because if so you would need to have a pass in all practical endorsements in chemistry and biology to get onto dentistry, as universities do ask for it. I also took both Chemistry and Biology, just finished my a levels.

Yep the endorsement! I found out now I will have to do them but this was not going to be easy to begin with so let the challenge begin for the Road to success

Random question, but is A-level Chemistry needed for dentistry? What cons are there to only doing Bio?
