I'm on question 6, I've differentiated y to get 2t and x to get 1/t + 1. does ln go to 1 when differentiated? after that I must have done it wrong because my answer is far too simple.

Your dy/dt and dx/dt are correct - assuming that's 1/(t+1) for the latter.

So, just sub in t=1 to each and use Pythagoras to combine them to get the speed.

I have done that and my final answer is 2 sqrroute 2 but its supposed to be 1/2 sqrroute 17
do you know what I've done?

nevermind I did differentiate it wrong so I used what you gave me and I've got the right answer now. thanks for your help.
