Hi!
Need help with health profession
Basically i applied for access to HE psychology.but because i don't have gcse English as my i have other GCSE equivalent qualification. College offered me ACCESS TO HE HEALTH PROFESSION instead. And i am so confused what degree can we do in university after studying acces to HE PROFESSION DIPLOMA FOR 1 YEAR.
I know we can get in to adult nursing.
But i don't want to study nursing really.
If someone know what other profession we can get in to? That would be helpful
Thankyou in advance

It really is more about your grades.
You can apply for most courses that are non specific. It doesnt have to be healtcare specific as long as you havent used up funding.
You really need to sort out the English qualification as unis will normally expect English and Maths GCSE or equivalent.

From my course (access to science for health professionals) it was mostly nursing but we also had someone go into mental health nursing, I don't know if that would interest you? The rest of us went into forensic science, molecular biology, paramedic science, physiotherapy, midwifery, and OT.

Which access courses are accepted seems to depend more on the units covered than the name of the access course.
