I was wondering if it's possible to be admitted into UCL medical school despite doing BTEC applied science but having the required GCSE grades

What does this say? https://www.ucl.ac.uk/medical-school...nts/2020-entry

BTEC isn't even mentioned in there - so no.

According to the official list of all med school entry requirements (https://www.medschools.ac.uk/media/2...al-schools.pdf) only HYMS will consider BTEC for their Medicine with a Foundation Year course; and that's with a set of DMM grades. You also can't just apply to Foundation Year degrees - you have to fit certain criteria.
