Hi,
I am supposed to start the PGCE Primary course at the University of Greenwich soon, but I am sooo confused that I am about to change my mind about registering. Basically, when I tried to register, the course title read "ProfGCE..." but I applied for and was accepted onto the PGCE course. Now I'm being told that the PGCE course starts on ProfGCE and PGCE (60 credits, level7) gets offered once the course commences. I have no idea what this means. Can you please help me? Thanks in advance.

You can do essays at level 6 (undergrad) or level 7 (masters). Depending on which one you do, you receive a Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (ProfGCE) or a Postgraduate (PGCE).

I don't believe it makes any difference to you getting work after. It just changes whether you have credits to carry forward to a full Masters at a later date
