Hiya!
I've taken Triple Science, Music, Spanish and Geography (along with Maths and English)
I'm predicted 8s in all my subjects apart from Music, which is a 7.
I want to get:
9-Biology & Chemistry
8-English Language, English Literature, Geography and Maths
7- Physics, Spanish and Music

After year 11, I want to do A-Level Biology, Chemistry, and Geography and I want to go to University to get a Medicine degree.

Surprisingly, I am excited to start year 11. It's probably because year 10 was a decent year for me and I enjoy the routine of school and l enjoy learning.

My hobbies are: Story Writing, Listening to Music, Playing the Piano, Baking/Cooking and I love astronomy and astrology
My favourite subject is either biology or Chemistry
My least favourite is Physics

And my favourite way to revise is"blurting" which is where you give yourself a topic and then you write down everything you can remember related to that topic within a short-ish amount of time (I usually do it for the length of a song).

Hallo:danceboy:

I'm taking:

Spoiler:
Show
pink = Predicted grades; blue = aspirational grades
Further Maths - 8 8/9
English Literature - 9 9
English Language - 9 9
French - 7 8/9
ICT - 8 9
RS - 7 9
Biology - 8 9
Chemistry - 9 9
Physics - 8 9
History :cheeky: - 8 9

I already have a grade 9 in maths

After year 11: I plan to go to a sixth form and do biology, chemistry, maths and further maths/ economics/ physics (four subjects are compulsory for me in year 12)

How you are feeling about starting year 11: Not gonna lie, I'm actually not that worried, I feel like this year is going to be so much better than last year.

How you felt about year 10: It was meh.

Hobbies and interests: I play the piano and clarinet, I used to swim competitively (stopped last year) and I find medical diseases intriguing

Favourite subject: was maths because I found it so easy... now I don't do it so I'd say probably biology (outside of school, I don't particularly get on with my teacher)

Least favourite subject (s): History and french

Favourite way to revise: past papers and essay plans

Hello!

I'm doing:
AQA Eng Lit- predicted 7, want 9
AQA Eng Lang- predicted 7, want 9
AQA maths- predicted low 8, want 8
EDEXCEL Physics- predicted 6/7, want 7/8
EDEXCEL chemistry-predicted 7, want 7/8
EDEXCEL biology- predicted 7, want 8/9
OCR History- predicted 7/8, want 9
WJEC Music- predicted 7, want 7/8
WJEC Art, predicted 8/9, want 9

I've already done AQA RE, got a 7

After GCSES I want to do A Levels in art, Combined English lit+lang and History, with hopes to study history at Cambridge or Durham. (edit, now doing Maths, FM, history + art)

Quite excited for y11, Hopefully I'll be more focused than last year (I was still relatively new to the school) and spend more time on my studies.

imo I wish I didn't choose music, like the subject but my teacher's a pain (and might have broken spec rules?) Should've done drama instead!

the subjects you have taken : Maths, EngLang, EngLit, Bio, Chem, Phys, Hist, Geo, French, Spanish, Music. Took Further Maths this year (will get result in September)

your predicted grades : All 9 (lol no pressure)

the grades you want to achieve : I'll aim for all 9's, but I won't get upset if it doesn't happen

any grades you may have (if you did any early): Waiting on Further Maths result

your plans after year 11 (alevels, college, apprenticeship) : Apply to some colleges, unsure if I want to do IB or A-level yet

what do you want to do in the future? (university, career plans etc.) : No idea!

how you’re feeling about starting year 11 : Ready to hit the ground running. Yr7-10 have gotten progressively better for me. Might as well have a positive outlook, however long it lasts.

how you felt about year 10: Loved it. Perhaps more because of friends than academics, but that's okay.

hobbies and interests : Playing instruments (especially cello + clarinet), olympiad-style mathematics, youth council, youth parliament, climate activism, boxing, dogs, DofE

favourite subject : Lucky enough to like all of them

most hated subject: I struggle with science and I find the GCSE Geography course pretty terrible

favourite way to revise: Making notes by bringing together exam spec + textbook
