for sixth form is it better to attend a private or state one?
If I’m applying for a private sixth form it will be through a bursary. Can someone tell me what that’s like eg entrance exams, likeliness, interviews etc
Is it worth going to a private school for sixth form in the long term as it’s only two years eg uni, grades, future job prospects etc
What’s a private sixth form or generally like compared to a state sixth form? Any better/worse?
Any other thoughts would be appreciated thx

obviously a private sixth form will be better - it has better funding, more equipment, more well trained staff

Each sixth form is different, so it's hard to answer exactly.

There's not much downside to applying for a private sixth form it might allow you to get a better feel for the place. Have you been to these places on open days?

Yes I’ve been to one and I do like it however I’m sure there’s a lot of competition especially when it comes to entrance exams and applying for a bursary. I don’t think I’m good enough but it’s worth a try?

You're right there is likely to be a lot of competition, however it is worth trying. What do you have to lose?
