So, I've bought a new foundation (MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation) and typically I've been matched darker than my actual skin colour. How can I lighten it up so I can use it to my advantage and it won't go to waste. I know mixing in a moisturiser does the trick and actually lightens it up but it also gives it a sheer finish and I really wanted a medium to full coverage.

Anyone got some hacks they could share???

Sometimes I use a lighter concealer under my eyes, on my nose and chin and blend blend blend.

Apply some powder and usually it disguises the incorrect foundation colour.

If not it will be a good summer foundation shade
