Hi!

So, the manager needs to buy 4000 cups.

In offer 1, each box contains 500 cups. Therefore, to get 4000 cups, they would need to buy 4000 / 500 boxes, 8 boxes. 8 boxes, at 15 pounds eachs, would cost 240 pounds.

In offer 2, each box contains 1000 cups. Therefore, to get 4000 cups, they would need to buy 4 boxes. However, it claims if you buy 3 boxes, you get the4th box free. Therefore, you are only paying for 3 boxes. 3 boxes at 39 pounds each is 117 pounds.

Therefore, to save the most money, the manager would choose offer 2.
