I'm starting my a levels in September and it's the first time I'll ever be taking them. I'm nervous and not sure what the work load will be like.

I'm doing a btec diploma 3 in Computing which is equal to 4 a levels.

How can I prepare myself for the two years ahead?

Are you doing BTEC or A levels or both?

Highest BTEC level 3 is the extended diploma which is equivalent to 3 A levels.

Just be consistent, look at the spec, dont skip lessons do your work on time and plan for submitting assignments.
Learn the mark scheme as well.
