Coursework

I was just wondering how did everyone start their history coursework. I have no idea how to start it and the deadline for the first draft is in 3 weeks.

Do you have a title/ subject?
Make a list of them and then start making essay plans for your top 3-5.
The read articles about them so you understand what happened and pick your favourite three.
Then read some more and make a 1 page essay plan.
Then rank them and see if any of them stick out as your favourite.
Then check theres enough research available and if so, get on to reading just about the subject area so you know the period.
Once you know the period then start making your essay plan more detailed with questions / sections and things you need to answer or include.
Then start looking for articles and books to read that you can make notes from and feed them into your essay plan.

That should be enough for your draft essay plan and then its more of the same for the real thing.
