Hi - I didn't get any on campus accommodation at RHUL and it's unlikely that I will be going for private accommodation - everything is wayy too pricey although I am still looking.
My last option is to travel from London to Royal Holloway via public transport.

Has anyone done this before/ know anyone who has had to travel like this? How bad is it? Do you get used to the distance?

I will be a first year student as of September.

Hi, if you Are still looking I have a room in Station Court London for about 185pound a week. It is a full-year booking, that means it will last 51 weeks, starting from september the 14th, so all in all 9450 pounds the year. It already includes a kitchen pack with 20 items such as pots, plates etc. and a bedding pack. Commuting to London centre will take about 20min if I remember correctly. If you are interested, you can take over my tenancy agreement, which would help me a lot, as I would have to pay the full rent even though I won't be living there. Feel free to ask for any further information! Btw, it would help ma a lot as well, as you would take off a huge financial burden for me, because i would to pay the future rent even though the room will remain empty if nobody moves in there :/

The accommodation is managed by the Unite Students, so if anything should happen during your stay, they will definetly help you out!
