So I am looking to apply to Univeristy of Toronto (Mississauga) for Fall 2020. I hope to study Economics there or a Business-related course.
At GCSE, I achieved 5 A*'s, 5 A's and 1 B.
I just finished my A-levels and I achieved an A in Economics (Edexcel), A in Psychology (Edexcel), D in Maths (OCR MEI), A in AS Business (Edexcel) and A* in my EPQ. I now plan on taking a gap year and:
- Retaking my Maths A-level online with through CloudLearn for the June 2020 exam.
- Taking my Business AS to A-level through part time study at my local college.
Therefore, by August 2020 I will hope to secure an A in Business and an A in Maths to give me a new set of A-level grades of AAAA with my A* in EPQ.
What are my chances of a successful application to UofT? I have heard that they don't accept retakes in Maths? Is there another way I could successfully apply?
Any advice on my situation would be greatly appreciated.
