thank you!
i hope i'll get into it once i start analysing it otherwise i'm gonna find the lessons tough thankfully it's worth only half of one 25 marker on the paper so that may be a good thing:dontknow:
i'm reading over my ps and just wondering how any uni will accept me
oh i've heard of that!! didn't really appeal to me but maybe i shall have a look at it.
and you, hope uni goes well:hugs:
No worries

I’m sure you will I can send some resources over if you want on the text that might help. That’s true your writing about it alongside another text not sure if you said you were doing Tess my memory is awful. But yeah that’s means you don’t have to worry about it too much.
Haha I’ve felt the same don’t worry at all I’m sure it will be great :yep:

Hope you like it
Thanks :cube:

Love your key dates
I followed along last year without really commenting much, hopefully I'll be better at commenting this year :yep:
Btw you don't have to add all your uni choices at once, I sent mine off with only 4 added, so if you're not sure you can wait and see closer to the January 15th 6pm deadline then just add your other ones on track

manu's song of the week:

hi guys. sorry for the late update, have been busy and seem to have caught a cold as of yesterday which is great:hide:

english lit:
continuing with death of a salesman, though most of this week we spent watching the film version of doas as the teacher wanted talk to us individually about our neas for the prose text though she hasn't got to everyone yet. need to complete an essay on doas for wednesday, not easy as we've only looked at setting so far in class but i'll get through it...
in atonement we looked at really complex narrative ideas which hurt my head a bit there was all these fancy words which i can't remember but basically we're discussing the presence of the narrator within the story as it seems to deliberately change at certain times.

maths:
more functions- domains and ranges of inverse functions mostly. think i've got the hang of it as the rules are pretty simple but need to remember to use correct notation. the teacher made us do a ton of questions which did help.
small angle approximations and radians with the other teacher :eek2: i was doing the h/w today and found it really difficult, but i think i've got it mostly correct? idk. there's one question about proving that a small value on a graph is approximated by a straight line, which i've no clue how to approach really. radians was okay, matter of remembering rules and formulas and stuff, as with approximations.

psychology:
social learning theory- bandura's study, vicarious reinforcement...
watched some documentary in relationships which was quite interesting, and repeating reproductive theory pretty much. at least it's nailed in my head for now, hope we move on soon as i'm getting bored.

other academic stuff:
ps writing has been a struggle but i'm going to try going over it tonight, after getting someone to read over it for me:ninja:. recieved a lot of hw this week but that's to be expected. some of my references seem to have been completed already and i'm really nosey and want to know what the teachers are saying about me:grumble:
spent most of today doing maths h/w bc i am that slow
also passed my sutton trust psychology assignment:woo: unsure if i wanna apply to durham though, i prob won't.

non academic stuff:
trying to get the 1975 presale tickets unfortunately failed, was in the queue for ages too:cry: however, friday they didn't sell out immediately for general sale which i was surprised about...so i snapped up some tickets in the afternoon whilst in english lit, feeling v chuffed

concert's on a school night which is a shame but i still wanna go :yep: my friend's very excited to go:grin:
went to a kilo sale- train issues and my sister being late meant there wasn't much good stock left by the time we got there and the restocks were a bit slow too; the queue was ridiculously long but i got a few good items. there was lots of nice jumpers but i wanted t shirts and they didn't have many nice ones which was disappointing- maybe in the summer the stock'll be better so i'll go again after a levels or something.
in other words, i'm tiredddd:lol:

qotd: extrovert or introvert?
