Applying for uni (UCAS)

Hello all,

I’ve applied for university starting on Foundation year via clearing.
I was attending college last year and was on the first year of Level 3 which I passed.
However due to personal matters, I dropped out and therefore I wasn’t able to do the second year.
Now I was planning to go back to college and complete the final year, but I was told by a friend that I can apply for a foundation year in uni through clearing which is what I’ve decided to do.

I’ve only applied for one uni so far as they were offering the type of course I want to do. Should I apply for more or is that okay? Also is there anything wrong with pursuing a foundation year in uni first? I’m low-key panicking as I don’t want to miss the clearing deadline or the college enrol deadline should anything go wrong.
