Study skills - where to start? I'm in a pretty unique sitation, and need to start again from the beginning.

I was at university, but had to suspend in 17/18 due to catastrophic illness. My memory, concentration, thinking and ability to function is permenantly affected, amongst other things, but I'm not giving up on my degree.

I'm now at the point where I wish to learn how to study all over again, then intend on regaining the knowledge required for my degree so I can return in Sept 2020.

So where does one start when it comes to study skills? Are there any accessible books that explain this from the absolute beginning?
