Dentistry with ABB

I have finished my A-levels and achieved ABB, A in chemistry, B in biology and B in maths. I want to do dentistry but many requirement is AAA. I need some advice, do i do biomedical science and graduate entry? Resit my A-level or do dentistry abroad?

I'd check out all the unis that do resits as then it could only be 6 years more till you qualify as opposed to 7 or 8. However you need to get a ukcat test booked asap and of course enrol at school/ college.

I went to my college and they did not accept my application to retake the year for maths and biology (Due to funding cuts, even if i insisted to pay for my education). So i will probably only get to sit the exam if i sign up for it.

Hey there, I have been in a similar position for med school, and I thought to myself, If I am hell-bent on this career and I want to do this for the rest of my life and no other career can make me as happy as this one, then study abroad - that's what I'm doing.

Plus most abroad unis will be GDC recognised and are of similar quality to British universities.

However, if you feel doing grad entry with Biomed (which I had the option also - but now im studying abroad instead) do you feel you'll still be motivated for dental school then?

Also - resitting A-levels is also a good idea but it all comes down to whether you feel dentistry is for you at this moment of time - or next year - or in three years as a Biomed graduate.

Forgive me if this makes you feel any different, but am in the same position for medicine, but I'm going abroad because it's something that I would do all my life - and I would not wait a year or 3 yrs to do it - this is my opinion and I MAY NOT BE RIGHT.

Just relax, send me a private message, and think what is best for u, and if you're thinking of going abroad - I can help u out - I'm not sponsored by any agency or group - I'm just a fellow student who's been in a similar situation.
