BKSB Sixth Form

Hey guys and girls,
So I just did the Initial Functional Skills BKSB assessments for Maths and English. Before taking the test, the Sixth form said it is normal to get 2 grades lower than what you got in GCSE as it has been quite some time before we used our brains. Bur they said if you dont do well in these, you may have to do some extra work on your maths and english skills throughout your time in Sixth Form just to improve those math and literacy skills. I got Level 1 in English and Level 2 in Maths. I retook the English one , but got different questions this time. And I got 75% in the second one but was rushed. Is that good? Will I have to do extra studying on something I am not going to focus on in the future? Thanks for reading.
