My Step Brother likes me?

1. He always talks about me to his friends, they talk about my body a lot, boys will be boys I suppose. Is it just me who thinks that is weird?
2. He always tries to be touching my legs, I can be more specific if needed. Why?
3. He is super protective over me. Why?
4. He always makes comments such as ‘Damn (my name) why do you always dress like a slut around me, you’re really asking for it at this point’ and other such things, or that I’m ‘acting like I’m on the set of a cliché porno’. As someone who does not watch porn, what is the cliché porno? And what exactly does he mean by asking for it?
5. At a house party one time he was incredibly drunk and tried to dance with me. Does this mean anything or was it merely a drunken error?
6. Is this incest?!

Ok him saying "you're asking for it at this point" is semi a genuine threat, whether he meant it or not and you need to tell him that's not ok. Not to mention saying you're dressing like a slut is also not ok. Saying you're acting like you're on a porn set is revolting and predatory as ****. Honestly, I would stay the hell away from him

i never really thought if it as a threat before.
out of curiosity, how exactly is it revolting and predatory.
Also, I’m kinda living with him right now It’s hard to stay away from him 🤕

This sounds like some netflix show lol. maybe he is enjoying close female company and doesn’t be intend to actually be weird he just acts odd. Because surely he thinks it is odd? Has he stroked your legs etc in front of parents? Or moved away when adults come near?

Well most people in proms films kinda use the girl like a prop or a play thing, and people watch porn to get off on it. If he says you're acting like you're on a porno then he might be either having a laugh, or actually getting off to you. Not to mention is it creepy as hell.

I mean i’m not sure. As I said I never really paid attention to him touching my shins before- it’s my shin i don’t really care about it. But if i think about it he doesn’t really move away more so just rests his hand there instead of stroking?

i really hope he’s just having a laugh, he makes comments like that all the time though, like daily, he says a lot of stuff i don’t really understand but i’m gonna assume they’re like porn references

I think the best thing would be flat out to tell him to stop. If he refuses then see if you can force him to. Has he always been saying stuff like that?

1. talking to his friends might have started out innocent enough. You're his step sister. But if they're talking about your body and he's not stopping them, it's an issue.

2. touching legs is a no-no. If you could be more specific it would be helpful, but it depends where. Either way, touching someone's legs is fairly intimate, even if it's just the shin. Again, he shouldn't be doing this.

3. being super protective might be he's taking on the role of a brother. That, or he doesn't want any other boys near you, not because he wants you safe but because her wants you for himself.

4. I addressed this earlier but I'll continue with the "what is cliche porn". Cliche porn is when you have 2 people acting 'innocent' when in reality they're about to ****. What he's saying is he thinks you're acting all innocent about his advances and he might think you're putting it on a bit. Either that or he thinks you're playing a game. In porn films, the girl will sometimes say "no we can't" and things like that to play it up a bit. He think you're doing that.

5. if he tried to dance with you it might just be friendly. It depends on how he wanted to dance. Though, I will admit, not many people go to parties to dance with their step sister. Just saying.

6. hmm yes. legally you're siblings. Not by blood, but it still stands. I'm sure there have been plenty of step siblings who have liked each other because you think "well they're not my blood so it's ok" when in reality they is not the case. It really isn't ok and can cause rifts and tensions in a new family.

1. i don’t really know much else about the conversations, one of my friends is friends with someone who is part of my step brothers friendship circle, i don’t get any first hand information.

2. it’s always just been like holding or rubbing my shins, as i said i never really paid any attention to this, because if i lay on the couch and rest my legs on my mother she’ll rest her hand on me. So i thought it was kinda normal at first and paid no attention- though the other day he was explaining something and he tried to rub my thigh - i instantly told him to f*** off

3. i think this is where i’m overthinking- he most likely is just fulfilling the role of a brother, in not sure

4. So what you’re saying is he thinks i’m acting innocent but actually do enjoy what he’s doing ?

5. it was your typical young adult house party ‘dancing’, though he was VERY drunk he could barely see to walk in a straight like

6. so by blood it isn’t incest but maybe by definition it is?

1. it might be misinformation. Or exaggeration. Seeing as he is protective, that might be the case, however he also has said some fairly lewd comments so maybe not.

2. with your mother, that's just affection. Rightfully so you thought he was doing the same. Good on you for telling him to **** off. If in doubt, try telling your mum if he does something like that again if you think she'll listen to you.

3. you're probably right

4. that's the most likely scenario. Chances are he think you're playing 'hard to get'. Put an end to that by telling him once and for all to stop with the porn remarks because they are out of line.

5. if he was drunk then he might have not known what he was doing. But then again, they do say the two most truthful groups of people are children and drunks.

6. yep

i don’t think i’ll say anything yet, but if he does it again i’ll bring it up
