I have two offers for a masters degree, one is an MSc and the other is an MSc by research (MRes). At the moment I am not interested in doing a PhD after my masters and I'd like to go straight into work. I wanted to know whether an MRes degree is helpful at all when going straight into work as I'd rather go to the university that offered me the MRes course. What kind of career options are available after an MRes?
