I have got a place at Brunel (Foundation Year) however i don't really like the Uni and don't want to stay there. Ideally I'd want to transfer to Nottingham or Queen Marys after the Foundation year or First year. Is this possible even though I got CDE (due to me being lazy) in my a levels? I don't whether to retake or to take the Foundation year.

Yes. Start contacting unis now so you’re prepared to apply again in a few months. They will expect you to have high results in your foundation year though. If you’re anything like me and don’t want to retake because you hate your subjects then defo go for the foundation. But if you know you can do better, then retake.
