Pandas are the main cultural export of China, used to educate foreign countries on China's benevolence and dedication to sustainable living. They're all on a loan, even the newborn cubs belong to China.
This move is basically subverting China's effort to reach out to countries. Not only biting the hand that feeds, but biting the hand that doesn't want war.
But unfortunately for Germany, a hand once bitten is a cynical hand with strengthened vigour and resolve. Shall China name its two new police dogs Adolph and Hilter, and set them loose on the Hong Kong rioters?
The extradition law (that would stop murderers and criminals avoiding justice) has already been cancelled, yet these riots continue. It is clear that they will be content with nothing less than the overthrow of the state and the emergence of anarchy.
