Yes a large majority of companies offering spring week programmes do require you to complete a test. The most common of these are aptitude tests.

There are a few variations but the most common aptitude tests you can expect to complete include: numerical reasoning (to test your mathematical ability), verbal reasoning (to test your grasp of English including: comprehension, vocabulary etc) and situational judgement test (tests how you would behave when giving example scenarios). JobTestPrep is a solid all-in-one solution for practising aptitude test that I would recommend.

From my experience. most firms will give you 5 days in which to complete the testing process.
