Is it possible to transfer to another university without the required A-Levels

I am currently attending a lower ranked uni but I have always wanted to come to Warwick. Say, I get decent grades in first year, would I be able to to transfer to let's say Warwick or anywhere else? Let's also add in a good reference and good extra-circular activities.

Would it be possible to transfer without the required A-Level grades? Or will they make me retake anyway?

It varies between unis and departments or courses.
Generally they will be looking for a similar calibre of student that they allowed admission in year 1.
You need to look at their transfer policy or ask before you spend time applying.
