What are the weirdest/most unusual things you've had to deal with in university halls?

I'm writing a piece for my student magazine and I wanna hear your stories!

Mine: Security being called to a ketchup and red wine fight...

the multiple squad cars response, armed (college) police, lots of cars (about three) with sirens and blue lights
screaming to a halt outside the student halls, police rushing in

I asked a mate _ should we start running the other way?_ - and as he'd been at Stanford University (California) longer than I had, said _No_ it's just the standard response here to reports of an under twenty-one year old student being seen somewhere near to a bottle of beer._ eek!

This happened as I was leaving the Cantor Arts Center - Rodin sculpture Collection - in the amazingly nice gardens of Stanford University, and I thought what would the US campus cops think of the UK's typical student kitchen halls, many many empty, some full, bottles of gin, bacardi everywhere - thankfully, surprisingly not that many bottles of beer as the fridges are a bit small for that....

armed response! just No
