what can you get out of having a good gcse in history eg jobs

GCSE’s will get you pretty much no where, they’re just to get you into college/sixth form, the majority of jobs don’t look at GCSE’s, it’s A levels / higher level qualifications that get you jobs

However, History related jobs are anything to do with museums, perhaps archeology, teaching, documentary making etc
But to do any of these you need much higher qualifications than GCSE’s

Honestly GCSEs are only really useful for applying to sixth form and for university (to an extent - your predictions are more important). A-level history might actually get you somewhere.
