I want to take maths at uni (like only maths, not maths&something) however i do not know what jobs i could go into from there, apart from finance of course

Data science, programming, maybe some fields of engineering, or really any position that just requires a degree. Maths teachers are in high demand so there's that option too. You're not going for joint honours, but maths is so broad that it will still depend on what you specialise in.

There are also lots of jobs in statistics and places like GCHQ have jobs involving cryptography. The civil service takes n Maths graduates and generally Maths grads are in demand as it proves a thinking ability

do you think these jobs will be available in the long-term future as tecnology is beginning to take over the finance industry
