My uni are nagging me to register for them online. I don't want to do this in case I don't go (family issues) and i'm still deciding. Does registering mean my student loan and stuff will go to this uni. I was gonna go uni last year but didn't turn up to registration so no fees went through. Just wondering what happens if I register online?

For my uni you "enroll" online however that doesn't mean that SFE sends the loans to them and to you, you also have to visit the uni and provide ID - which officially makes you enrolled. If you don't feel like registering cos ur unsure, maybe have a chat with your uni and explain your situation?
