IB stands for international baccalaureate. The IB diploma program allows students of grade 11-12 to select their subjects of study based on their interests regarding their academic outlook. In general, each student selects 6 subjects, 3 in Higher Level and 3 in Standard Level. As the program aims to prepare students for academic lives at Uni, there is a lot of research which has to be done, which in total sums up to around 20.000 words. Additionally, the lessons are developed in a way where students have to develop critical ways of thinking, in order to do well, thus helping them develop as people.
I did the IB and took High Level Mathematics, English and Computer Science and Standard Level Physics, Business and Management and Modern Greek. I achieved a total of 37 out of 45 points and I will be studying Electronic Engineering in the UK
