Everyone here who said no is a ****tard. Essex is a good university, especially good for Politics. Of course, it is as nowhere near as oxford or LSE, but it’s not a ****ing ex poly uni either. At least if you’re gonna say no give good reasons

Essex is ranked first. It's really good for Politics, one of the best in the UK.

No worries. LSE also has pretty low student satisfaction which could matter to OP. And Essex has higher 'graduate prospects' than Edinburgh for Politics. But Essex obviously doesn't have great reputation in general in comparison to those universities.
