what time should a 16 year old sleep to get up at 6:45

latest should be 10:45pm for 8 hours of sleep but I would say between 9:30pm and 10:30pm to get a good 8-9 hours

Aim for an absolute minimum of 7 hours actual sleep, meaning that you would have fallen asleep (not in bed) at 23:45.
But I would recommend getting 8 hours sleep just to be safe and that would mean you have to be asleep at 22:45.
Don't sleep for longer than 9 hours and try to make sure that quality of your sleep is good as well as 7 hours of bad quality sleep will just mean you feel knackered in the morning.
Also take into account how long it takes for you to be properly awake and leave some time for that.
