A2 Geography field trip for the NEA, Urgent!

I was just wondering if it's a really big deal if I do miss the field trip. My teachers haven't even signed me up to go because of my situation last year and I really just wasn't informed of anything. I'm taking A2 Geography for the 3rd year of my A Levels. They haven't emailed or anything to me anything over the holidays so I just assumed I could stay home after taking my other 2 A Levels. Anyways now that I'm probably missing the field trip they say they're going to have to take me off the course basically saying they're kicking me out of the school. Please help meee, I don't know what to do and it's really stressing me out.
