Am I being silly? Watch

I'm a sensitive soul and I can get upset easily. Anyway, over the past few weeks I keep thinking about something that is so so trivial, but I can't help it.

I'm thinking back to how my boyfriend said 'I love you' 4 months in to our relationship. He did actually say it a month earlier (so 3 months in) but it kind of slipped out in conversation, and to me I wasn't sure he meant it so I didn't respond... he has since told me that he did mean it then.

Within that month gap (between the 3 and 4 months) there was Valentines day. We had a lovely time... but I feel like it could've been better if we had expressed our love by this point. It was obvious we both loved each other, but we were probably both too shy. I feel like the day could've been a really nice celebration of our love, but instead at times it was a little awkward because we seemed to both be dodging the word out of fear.

Am I overthinking this?

I don't get it, so if you love him why didn't you say it back when he said it? Because he didn't say it before?

There will be more Valentine's Days. Don't get hung up one not being as good as you hoped it would be.

My hubby is banned from buying me cards or presents for Valentine’s Day.
I don’t want anything because it’s been decided that that’s the day he has to show me he loves me. Apart from that the cost of flowers on that day is a rip off
I would rather have a £2 bunch of flowers from Aldi any other day of the year for no reason.
If he’s told you he loves you then just believe him.
It’s his actions that count. Words are easy.
You’re overthinking it
