I'd definitely start with the books recommended by your college, and if they're not helpful then look into the GCP books.

For college-?
I’m starting distance learning A Levels. For both my science subjects I got the recommended exam board text book and revision guide. Then also the CPG revision guide book. Psychology just the text book and CPG guide. All were second hand but in great condition so paid £15 in total for 8 books!

Definitely start with the ones recommended by college. Then if you can get CPG books if you find them helpful

For college-?
Why would you get a book that wasn't recommended?
